Douglas Adams talks Hitchhiker’s Guide and e-Readers in 2000

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy has helped thousands of people to cope with the pressing demands of living in our universe. The books, radio and TV shows have woven the travails of Arthur Dent into one of the most enduringly funny works of the last century.

Douglas Adams, their creator, also holds the distinction of accidentally predicting the rise of our current “wireless bible” generation and the genesis of e-Readers as a replacement for books.
